Huron-Manistee National Forests - Forest Plan Amendment

SAVE ALL THE FORESTS

You might have thought it was bad that the Huron-Manistee National Forests won't prohibit hunting anywhere in the forests.  Well, it keeps getting worse.

On April 17, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Sportsmen's Heritage Act, H.R. 4089.  If enacted, it would require that ALL federal lands be open to hunting and that hunters have access (spelled 4 wheel drive trail) to all wilderness areas.

Yes, you read that right -- our public land managers would be required to allow hunting in Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon.

Write your U.S. Senators today, and tell them you oppose H.R. 4089.
